Coin Meteor is a user-friendly cryptocurrency tracking app designed for everyone—not just brokers or market experts. Its goal is to make the fast-moving world of crypto simple to follow: users can quickly see the state of the top 25 cryptocurrencies by market cap without being overwhelmed by complex charts or technical jargon. Market trends are presented through intuitive weather-inspired icons, making it easy to understand at a glance whether a crypto is performing well, experiencing small fluctuations, or facing a significant drop.

Developed in React Native using Windsurf Editor, Coin Meteor combines a clean, responsive design with real-time data, ensuring smooth performance on iOS devices.

Key Features

Portfolio Management

Add and track selected cryptocurrencies. View detailed charts for 1-week, 1-month, 6-month, and 1-year periods, along with essential metrics like market cap, ATH/ATL, 24h high/low, circulating and total supply, and 2h volume.

Meteor Alerts

Get instant notifications when cryptocurrencies fall according to your personalized thresholds. Weather icons—ranging from Sunny to Meteor—represent the severity of market changes, making alerts immediately understandable.

Customizable Notifications

Define alert levels for Rain, Storm, Thunderstorm, or Meteor. Control duplicate alerts to avoid being notified repeatedly for minor fluctuations, while still receiving critical updates.

Settings & Voting

Choose your reference currency (USD or EUR), set variation windows for alerts, and vote on future app features. Each user has 15 points to distribute, influencing which functionality is prioritized for development.
